WELCOME

Welcome to Scrap Tower, my little corner of the world, where I share my creativity with you.

I enjoy many forms of crafting, from paper crafting to sewing. I make custom greeting cards for family and friends. I've made unique custom cards commissioned by friends.

I am proud to have been a card maker for the organization Operation Write Home (OWH) for several years supplying 1,000+ handmade cards for our HEROES.

I continue to make cards as gifts or to sell and I am testing a few other sewing and crochet projects to sell.

My current charitable project is Sew Powerful Purse and I have sewn and donated 20+ purses in the past two years. I plan to donate 10+ purses in 2018.

I enjoy sharing my creative passion with others, including children in Sunday School and Bible School, etc.

OWH Sketch #119 - 2 Versions

My Muscle Cards / Father's Day cards were sent off to Caro on Friday and she received them on Saturday. Most of my fellow OWH card makers are able to complete and send many more cards than I do.  I hope that even a small number of quality handmade cards make a difference to our deployed heroes.

I have two versions of today's Sketch #119. After all of the masculine cards lately, I decided to go "Shabby Chic" with today's Sketch.

On the first card, I closely followed the Sketch and sample card.
Shabby Chic - Make a Wish
My husband saw it and said that he thought it would look good if the layout was flipped upside down, so I made a second card flipping the Sketch.  I think that both versions work nicely.
Shabby Chic - Best of Friends
Paper:  Treasures by Shabby Chic (6 x 6 pack, Michael's $1.00 bin - yea!!)
Punch:   Martha Stewart - #1) Traditional Eyelet, #2) Pinking Scallop
Circles: Spellbinders
Ribbon: Offray
Sentiments & Bling : Studio G ($1.00 stamps)

May is very busy for me. I have vacation and a couple of business trips during the month, so I probably won't have much time to make cards for the next few weeks. I will make cards when I can or I will experience creativity withdrawal !!!   I will check in at OWH every chance I get.  Meanwhile, thank you for stopping by!!

    1. I just realized that I labeled the border punches as Ek Success. They are both Martha Stewart. Don't want you chasing down the wrong punch. LOL Thank you for your kind comment!
