OWH Sketch #117

I am still working on Father's Day cards, so I used today's Sketch #117 to create another one. The sock was inspired by a card I saw in Paper Crafts Magazine (May/June 2012, pg 77).  I created a sock pattern and cut the pieces with my Craft Robo.  My circle is a little bigger than 2.5", so I re-positioned the the two 1.25" x 3" pieces a little farther apart than the Sketch.
Socks for Father's Day
Papers are SEI Grandpa's Attic and cardstock and ribbon from my stash.  The sentiment is from Inkadinkado Happy Everything set.

Below is OWH Sketch #117.

  3. I love the great mix of papers. The argyle works so well with the stripes. (Mixing those papers was what threw me at first when I saw the challenge because it's such a straight line. I like how you divided them. And the socks made me laugh. Too cute!
