WELCOME

Welcome to Scrap Tower, my little corner of the world, where I share my creativity with you.

I enjoy many forms of crafting, from paper crafting to sewing. I make custom greeting cards for family and friends. I've made unique custom cards commissioned by friends.

I am proud to have been a card maker for the organization Operation Write Home (OWH) for several years supplying 1,000+ handmade cards for our HEROES.

I continue to make cards as gifts or to sell and I am testing a few other sewing and crochet projects to sell.

My current charitable project is Sew Powerful Purse and I have sewn and donated 20+ purses in the past two years. I plan to donate 10+ purses in 2018.

I enjoy sharing my creative passion with others, including children in Sunday School and Bible School, etc.

OWH Midweek Throwdown Challenge - Father's Day

Yippee !  I found these Sassafras Lass papers on the $0.10 rack at the Scrapbook Clearance Store in Sevierville, TN, where everything is 50% off the lowest price. That means I paid $0.05 per sheet!  I was there last weekend specifically looking for papers to use for masculine cards. OK ... Sassafras Lass doesn't sound masculine, but I think that the papers work.
World's Best Dad - Teal Appeal
The papers are from the Teal Appeal series.  I used patterns Twist and Shout, Sew Striped and Swivel. I have 4 others papers to try and a sheet of tags to match.  The Teal cardstock is Bazzill "Rain". The Gray cardstock is The Paper Company "Night Sky".   Ribbon and gems are from my stash.  The sentiment is Studio G. Sketch is OWH #91 but I re-positioned the sentiment to the lower half of the card.

  1. Oh you lucky girl, shopping for papers at that FABULOUS store! I was fortunate enough to visit there on vacation a few years ago and still have some of those unbelievably cheap papers in my stash! I could have spent the entire day there!! LOL
I love the dsp on this card - what a great card for dad!!

And hey, brave you even tackling the traffic in Sevierville! (Before moving home to the PNW a year ago, we lived for 12 yrs in Knoxville and hiked in the Smokies a lot.) But you got a really great deal and yay for our troops that you are such a great bargain hunter!
