Welcome to Scrap Tower, my little corner of the world, where I share my creativity with you.

I enjoy many forms of crafting, from paper crafting to sewing. I make custom greeting cards for family and friends. I've made unique custom cards commissioned by friends.

I am proud to have been a card maker for the organization Operation Write Home (OWH) for several years supplying 1,000+ handmade cards for our HEROES.

I continue to make cards as gifts or to sell and I am testing a few other sewing and crochet projects to sell.

My current charitable project is Sew Powerful Purse and I have sewn and donated 20+ purses in the past two years. I plan to donate 10+ purses in 2018.

I enjoy sharing my creative passion with others, including children in Sunday School and Bible School, etc.

OWH Mid-Week Throwdown - 5/29/2013

The Midweek Throwdown today at Stars and Stamps, the Blog for Operation Write Home, is to make any occasion cards using something on the card that represents transportation.

I made these two cards recently with a 'used' stamp that I bought at a LSS nearby.  I am always looking for things to use for masculine cards, and really liked this stamp.  It is by Great Impressions.

The argyle pattern paper is from My Mind's Eye, Fine and Dandy. The other pattern paper was in my scrap box.

This was card featured as Operation Write Home, Stars and Stamps,  Sketch #183 on July 28, 2013.

OWH Sketch #183

  1. Both cards look terrific! Love that stamp!

  2. Neat cards! I love that "you're a classic" stamp! It's perfect!

  3. love that row of cars stamp! great mix with MME's paper

  4. Love how you used the die cuts and papers together!

  5. Perfect stamp for masculine cards. I need some of those :)

  6. Cars are such a great theme for guys! These 2 cards are great - the argyle adds color but isn't too busy. Thanks for the OWH sketch - I'm sure I'll be using it a lot.
